LiveBridge FAQ

Please register for an event with a valid email address whose mailbox only you can access. After successful registration you will receive the corresponding login information by e-mail.

This can have 2 reasons:

1. You are a spectator in a session where the camera function is disabled for participants. You can tell because the camera icon is missing from the menu bar at the bottom. In this case, you will not be able to use your camera.
2. The camera icon is in the menu bar and you want to activate it, but you can’t get access to your camera. In this case, please check in the settings of your browser whether the necessary releases for the camera are granted. If not, activate it and you can use your camera as usual.

This can have 2 reasons:

1. You are a spectator in a session where the microphone function is disabled for participants. You can recognize this by the fact that the microphone icon is missing from the menu bar. In this case, you will not be able to use your microphone.
2. The microphone icon is in the menu bar and you want to activate it, but you can’t get access to your microphone. In this case, please check in the settings of your browser whether the necessary releases for the microphone are granted. If not, activate it and you can use your microphone as usual.

Most of the time this is because the wrong audio output device is set. Therefore, please check if you have selected the correct device in the audio settings (menu bar below).

If this did not work, please check the browser settings for audio and last but not least the volume settings.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Participation links for the events allow only one access. If you would like colleagues to also participate in an event, feel free to share the link to the registration page where they can then register themselves.

Please check your internet connection.

If necessary, it makes sense to clear your browser’s cache.

Make sure that someone else is not already participating in the event with the participation link. Attention: Several participants cannot register for one event with one link.

If you still have difficulties, please contact us at help@livebridge.de.

You will need a browser and a stable internet connection and sufficient bandwidth with at least 2.5 Mbit/s receive and 3.0 Mbits/s send, if you want to participate in an event with your own camera.

Please note that multiple users of an access (for example from an office) can quickly consume the available bandwidth and may be the reason for transmission problems that may occur.

In very rare cases, the automatic delivery of the e-mail may be delayed. Please wait 5 minutes and check your spam folder.

Make sure you spell your email address correctly.

If nothing helps, please try an alternative e-mail address.

You will not get a password protected account with us. You only need your individual participation link, which you will receive after registration. You can request this link at any time using your e-mail address.

LiveBridge is optimised for Chrome, Edge and Firefox.

This is a pity, but in most cases not too dramatic. If an event has been recorded, you will find it in the archive shortly after the event.
